On December 12, Taikang Healthcare Industry Investment Holdings Co., Ltd. (Taikang Healthcare), the wholly-owned sugsidiary of the Fortune Global 500 Taikang Insurance Group, gained an area of over 17 thousand square meters in Chancheng District with 135 million yuan. It plans to invest 1 billion yuan to build a high-end wellness project which integrates high-quality health center, smart medical center, culture and art center, and health and entertainment center.

Taikang Insurance Group is headquartered in Beijing. It is a large-scale insurance and financial service group covering three core businesses: insurance, capital management and medical and health care. By the end of 2021, its assets under management exceeded 2.7 trillion yuan, and its revenue exceeded 260 billion yuan. It has been listed among the Fortune Global 500 for five consecutive years.

Its subsidiary Taikang Healthcare has been laying out the big health industry for more than ten years, specializing in investment and development, asset management and operation services of medical and health industry. It is the leading enterprise of domestic medical and health industry, with business operating in 26 cities of China.

Located in the central area of Foshan, the Green Island Lake area, the project has a unique geographic advantage of being part of the industrial highland of Foshan industry and humanities integrated development. Within the 1 km living circle, nearly 10 high-quality residential communities have been built with good medical facilities.
