First day of school with festive vibes

Crossing Tongji bridge, giving red pocket money, lanterns exhibition, lion dance...Foshan primary and secondary schools have designed unique opening ceremonies in a festive atmosphere of the New Year, allowing students to feel the charm of traditional culture in an immersive experience and welcome the new term happily.

"Crossing Tongji Bridge, Trouble Goes Away!" In Foshan No. 1 Primary School, this folk event was presented in the campus. Students received red pocket money distributed by the principal and teachers, and crossed the "Tongji Bridge" with windmills in hand.

On the first day of school, students from Chengnan Primary School in Foshan brought their own rabbit lanterns and rabbit headdresses to welcome the new term with joy.

Students of Tongji Primary School crossed Tongji Bridge, enjoying Lingnan traditional culture and charity culture of Chancheng.

Homemade lanterns and riddles by students were hung in Xiqiao No. 1 Primary School in Nanhai District. Teachers and students gathered under the lanterns to guess the riddles, and the school was full of laughter and happiness.

Students of Daliang Shunfeng Primary School in Shunde District showed their beautiful handwritten Fu character to welcome the new term with hope. Pink lions came to the classroom to send blessings to everyone.

“Best love‘兔’YOU, welcome back to school!” Cangjiang Primary School in Gaoming District displayed students’ handicrafts on the first day of school.

In Xinan Central Primary School in Sanshui District, the head teacher delivered pocket money to each student. Teachers and students exchanged their new year's wishes, played games in groups, shared happy memories during the Spring Festival, and exchanged small gifts.

Beilei Kindergarten in Gaoming District has prepared a lot of events for the new term.

On February 5, teachers and students of Nanhai Zhixin High School spent the Lantern Festival together making and tasting sweet dumplings.

Cheer up for new school term through various activities

Primary and secondary schools in Foshan held such activities as flag-raising ceremony, first lesson of school and themed class meetings. Students shared their stories of Spring Festival, learned knowledge about mental health and safety. What a happy and meaningful day!

Different and innovated class meetings were held in every grade of Xiqiao Experimental Primary School.

Foshan No.14 Middle School invited experts from the Chancheng Bureau of Justice and the People's Court to give a lecture on the "First Lesson of Law Knowledge" themed network security, guiding middle school students to raise their awareness of online friending, loans and fraud.

In the first class of Chinese, students from Jiujiang Middle School in Nanhai District shares their gains and insights during the holiday.
