On May 27, the 5th China Food Industry Development Conference was held in Sanshui, Foshan. At the conference, Sanshui was rewarded the title of "China Food and Beverage Industry Base · Sanshui" by China National Light Industry Council.

Commented by Li Yuzhong, vice-president of China National Light Industry Council, Sanshui has a solid foundation for food and beverage industry, and competitive advantages in natural resources. By gathering famous brands, Sanshui has achieved significant market shares and unveiled remarkable potential. Therefore, China National Light Industry Council will work closely with Sanshui in multiple areas like technology innovation, brand development and talent cultivation to support Sanshui's food and beverage industry.

Foshan Shuidu Beverage and Food Industrial Park is one remarkable project for Sanshui's food and beverage industry development. The local government will continue to build a better business environment, guiding enterprises in the Industrial Park to speed up their digital and intelligent transformation, and help them achieve further development.

Established in 2008 when Budweiser Beer settled down in Sanshui, it has gathered over 170 famous enterprises in food & beverage and relevant industries in the past 15 years.

Nowdays, it has become the most complete industrial parks with advanced infrastructure in Southeast China, also the key project in realizing Foshan's blueprint of 300-billion food and beverage industrial cluster. In 2022, Shuidu Industrial Park has achieved overall production value of 77 billion yuan and generated taxation income of 1.3 billion yuan.

In the future, Shuidu Industrial Park will focus on the food and beverage health, create more added value for traditional food and beverage industry, hereinafter, cultivating a national leading industrial cluster.
