In the presence of significant platforms, Jihua Laboratory, headquartered in Sanlongwan Sci-Tech City, stands as one of the first four provincial laboratories initiated by the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government. Leveraging this remarkable platform, Sanlongwan Sci-Tech City actively encourages local research institutes and major enterprises to collaborate on the establishment of R&D centers. They also facilitate international research institutions from Germany (Europe) in supporting local manufacturing through collaborations with Jihua Laboratory.

In August, HiTrom Han's Robotics Smart Manufacturing City and Shunde Innovation Institute at Beijing University of Science and Technology sealed a strategic cooperation agreement. This pact aims to deepen the integration of talent, technology, and industrial carriers, creating a vibrant regional innovation ecosystem. Notably, well-known robotics companies like KUKA, KEXIN HUACHENG, STIGELMEYER GROUP have chosen Sanlongwan as their bases, igniting the development of a multi-billion-dollar industrial cluster.

Today, Sanlongwan is renowned for its cutting-edge technology. It serves as a platform that seamlessly connects the entire industry chain, significantly reducing operational costs for companies.

Creating a Talent-Friendly Brand for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area

Thomas Schmoee, a senior technician and product manager at KUKA Robotics Guangdong Co., Ltd., has been living and working in China for over three years. He participated in various activities during the event, such as mooncake making, solving lantern riddles, and boat rides. Thomas praised Foshan’s distinctive culture and cuisine, "I had a great time tonight. Through this event, I gained a better understanding of the Mid-Autumn Festival and a deeper appreciation for Chinese traditional culture." said Thomas.

Back in 2021, Foshan International Talents Hub was established in Sanlongwan, focusing on serving foreign talents and researchers, and providing personalized services to assist high-level talents. The Hub offers a comprehensive ecosystem of services, including workspace, specialist services, and resource connections, enhancing the experience of high-level talents in Sanlongwan.

Sanlongwan Sci-Tech City plans to refine the international talent service system, conduct various economic and trade exchange activities overseas, and continue organizing events like the Art and Culture Week.
