On December 11, the "hot slip" test of the Guangfo-Ring Intercity railway of Foshan West Railway Station to Guangzhou South Railway Station section (referred to as Guangfo-South Ring) was successful conducted, after the entire line of the contact line was charged in October. When it comes to operation, the Foshan West Railway Station and Guangzhou South Railway Station will add an intercity railway, which will greatly improve the traffic efficiency of the Guangfo metropolitan area.

Hot slip detection is the basic condition to ensure the reliable and safe operation of high-speed train.

Guangfo Ring Project Department pays attention to strengthening safety and responsibility, and ensure that the hot slip test sprint to the end. Up to now, the arch network of the whole line of Guangfo South Ring has received good flow, the test vehicle runs smoothly, and the index effect meets the expectation.

After completion, it will operate through the intercity of Foshan, Zhaoqing, Dongguan and Huizhou, which is of great significance to promote the interconnection within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area and mutual sharing resources between Guangzhou and Foshan.

It is worth mentioning that except Foshan West Railway Station, the Guangfo Ring Line Foshan West Railway Station to Guangzhou South Railway Station section of the project has 5 stations, including Zhangcha elevated station and Beijiao West elevated station. There are 3 underground stations, including Shunde North Station, Chencun Station and Panyu Station, with a total length of 35.001 km. The target speed of the project is 200 km/h, and the vehicles are CRH6 intercity EMUs.

Up to now, the roadbed, bridge, tunnel and track projects of the acceptance section have all been completed. The design, environmental assessment, soil and water conservation programs have been basically completed. After the completion of the project, you can expect a swift 20-minute journey to reach Guangzhou South Railway Station.
