Participants happily rushed forward from the starting line

On January 1, the 2024 Sanshan New Year's Fun Run and Nanhai 3D Marathon (Sanlongwan Station) kicked off at Kexin Lake in Sanlongwan Nanhai Area. More than 500 Party members, residents and employees of key science and technology enterprises like GDXL Precise Machinery Company, Chainzone Technology Company and Guangdong Guangte Electric Company have participated.

Before 8 am, participants have already gathered to warm up for the run. The 3D marathon integrates four major fields of "science and innovation, architecture, park, and humanities", which shows the rich connotation of the city.

This year, the event added a three dimensional effect on the basis of last year's Wenhan Lake Fun Run. In the form of "Vertical Marathon+ Hiking", participants were able to exercise in the 3D space. Different sections were set up, including a 5km run around the lake, and a vertical climb of a 19-floor building. Along the way, there were knowledge learning, interactive games, and photo taking places. It was a 3D challenge with height, length, and fun, which brings participants more three-dimensional experience.

"Not only can we enjoy the beautiful scenery of Kexin Lake, but we also feel the high-quality human and ecological environment of Sanlongwan." Jiang Qixiang, Director of the Construction Bureau of Sanlongwan Nanhai Area and Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Guicheng Sub-district, said that he hoped to present the new vitality of the Party and the masses, the new strength of scientific innovation development and the new charm of urban-industrial integration via this activity.

It is reported that since 2020, various headquarters projects have gathered around Kexin Lake, which has significantly stimulated the industrial agglomeration. For example, Nidec, Quectel, Litai Group, Nanhua Instruments, and Foshan Angels Biotechnology Company have already settled down. More people are working and living in this area.

By improving the construction of the green lanes and slow-moving system in the park, the Sanlongwan Construction Bureau (Nanhai Area) has actively built a slow-moving ring network connected with regional green lanes, creating a national health and sports ring. To some extent, it can improve the working environment of makers and talents, and build an industrial community with deep integration of urban production and humanities. At present, the "Version 2.0 of Kexin Lake" after transformation and upgrading has embraced greener environment and more smooth road. It not only creates a good lakeshore landscape atmosphere, but also provides a comfortable, quiet,and convenient environment for surrounding enterprises and residents.

More than 10 shops also set up stalls on site, and every participant can receive coupons after the event.

Party building leading gather popularity

The beginning and the end of the activity are located in the Nanhai Party-Masses Service Center, which is the first newly built district-level Party-masses service center in the city. It's located in the core area of Sanlongwan Sci-Tech City, with a construction area of 2680 square meters. In the final vertical climbing section, participants need to climb the Party-masses service center building, and pass by the Party building Navigator Hall, the New Era Lecture Hall, the Party Branch Organization Life Hall, the Enterprise Service Hall, the Vitality League Building Room, the Civil Sentiment Tea room and other ten multi-functional activity rooms. Hence, the participants can feel the Party building service environment.
