On January 2, the completion ceremony of Foshan Xinzhantong Electronics Co. LTD. Headquarter was held in Sanlongwan Shunde Area. With a total investment of 1.1 billion yuan, the project will target at the research and development of chip, components manufacturing and the package testing of integrated circuit. Eventually, it aims to become an integrated project of semiconductors covering production and R&D.

Established in 2002, Shenzhen Xinzhantong Electronics Co. LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Shenzhen Xinzhantong") is a national high-tech enterprise in the semiconductor fields, including R&D of semiconductor chip, power device, package testing and sales of integrated circuit. It was known as the key upstream equipment provider in home appliance industry.

Its main products include power device TO-247, TOLL, TO-263 and etc, which are widely used in the fields of intelligent interconnection, 5G, home appliances, security, power suppliers.

As the subsidiary of Shenzhen Xinzhantong, Foshan Xinzhantong Electronics Co. LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Foshan Xinzhantong") has successfully won the 53-mu land in Sanlongwan at the price of 564.1 million yuan in February 2023. The project has been progressed rapidly that the construction took less than a year.

Out of 1.1 billion-yuan total investment, the investment for fixed asset has already taken over 500 million yuan. The major products cover diode, transistor and silicon controlled integrated circuit, which are essential for cloud computing, big data, smart grid and auto pilot in the future.

Commented by Shi Jinyuan, the chairman of Shenzhen Xinzhantong, the launch of this project will be a milestone in the development of the company. Through continuous innovation and development, it aims to grow into a leading enterprise in semiconductor industry. Once launched, the company will further expand production to realize the monthly production target of 2 billion chips.

The complete industrial chain provides an advantageous platform for the project. On the other hand, the launch of the project also serves for the local market and provides competitive products for local enterprises. Hence, it is expected that the project will embrace rapid growth with the geographic advantages in Foshan.

The launch of Xinzhantong project is one remarkable achievement of Sanlongwan's great effort in upgrading its industrial layout.
