19 Projects with 20.9 bln Investment Signed in Chancheng, Foshan

On February 28, Chancheng District High-quality Development Conference was held, with 11 investment projects (8.88 billion yuan in total) been signed at the event site. Additionally, 8 "Hundreds of Millions" projects have been signed, reaching total investment of 12.103 billion yuan.


The investment projects covered multiple fields, such as digital economy, new material, new energy, finance, cultural and commercial tourism. Notably, over 50% of the projects are closely associated with urban manufacturing or service industry, providing solid support for the development in Chancheng, Foshan.



Kepler Intelligent Computing Center Project to build manufacturing and service center


With an investment of 3.5 billion yuan, Kepler Intelligent Computing Center Project will be the first computing center in Foshan. Founded by Guangdong Kepler Communication Technology Co., Ltd, the project will incorporate 3750 service racks, reaching total computing power of 72,000P.


Meanwhile, the Precision Instruments Advanced Manufacturing Technology Pilot Test and Verification Platform was revealed. It is planned to build one pilot test and verification platform for enterprises in various fields such as ultra-high-speed motor, system integration, intelligent equipment and chip testing.


Remarkably, since 2024, Chancheng District has already introduced 16 investment projects, showcasing a prosperous start.


8 "Hundreds of Millions" Projects to boost coordinated regional development


8 "Hundreds of Millions" Projects focus on the village development in the areas of industrial upgrade, basic infrastructure and etc.


The urban village reformation funded by financial institutions is one iconic project. For instance, modification will be introduced in Jiaobian Village, making it a future platform nearby Guangzhou-Zhanjiang High-Speed Railway New City. Also, the Renhe Renwu sub-project will be bult into a financial industrial carrier covering 200,000-square-meter.


Industry is considered as one important driver to boost urban integration. Out of 8 projects, 6 of them are industrial carrier projects. Most of them are classified as modification projects, which will improve the efficiency of land utilization and provide more room for future layout.
