On June 30, after seven years of construction, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link officially began trial operation. This 24-kilometer, eight-lane super project, which integrates bridges, islands, tunnels, and underwater interchanges, has once again made a significant mark on the world stage of transportation.

The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link is one of the most complex cross-sea cluster projects globally, overcoming numerous critical technical challenges and setting 10 world records.

Throughout the construction process and subsequent operation, "Made in Foshan" has been ubiquitous, ensuring the safe passage through the link.

Yuehai Motor Vehicle: Ensuring Smooth Traffic Flow

Once the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link officially opened, Yuehai Moto's tow trucks entered the link to ensure safe passage. This marks the second time the company has provided professional road rescue services for a major national transportation project, following the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.

According to data from the Guangdong Provincial Transportation Group's Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link Management Center, as of 3 PM on July 1, the link had seen over 125,000 vehicle trips in the first 24 hours of operation, highlighting the importance of road rescue services for such high traffic volumes.

As the sole supplier of tow trucks for this project, Yuehai Motor provided various types of tow trucks, including flatbed tow trucks, integrated tow trucks, rotating tow trucks, and tunnel tow trucks, to handle different rescue scenarios.

Notably, for large vehicles, Yuehai Motor modified the load capacity of its flatbed tow trucks and introduced special tunnel tow trucks for use in tunnels. These trucks have received Chinese invention patents and can operate in the confined spaces of tunnels where standard tow trucks cannot.

Foshan Lighting: Illuminating Bridge Safety

In addition to the tow trucks, high-quality lighting is crucial for ensuring safe passage through the link. The marine environment of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, characterized by high temperatures, high salt content, high humidity, and strong winds, imposes strict requirements on the lighting fixtures used to ensure nighttime driving safety.

During the construction, Foshan Lighting provided over 37,000 LED lighting fixtures, controlled by an intelligent lighting system. These included custom-designed streetlights with special material coatings to withstand harsh marine conditions. The optical tempered glass module lenses of these lights are anti-glare, energy-efficient, durable, and resistant to high temperatures. The poles are designed to reduce wind resistance and can support cameras, 5G antennas, broadcasting, and other traffic safety and communication equipment.

To balance visual comfort and energy efficiency, Foshan Lighting specially integrated point light sources, floodlights, and linear lights into the bridge's towers, main cables, guardrails, and anchorages for landscape lighting. For the west artificial island's landscape lighting project, courtyard lights, underground lights, and other energy-efficient fixtures were incorporated into the main architectural features, enhancing the appearance.

Aerospace Baykee: Providing Smart Power

As a mega project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link is equipped with intelligent systems for monitoring, lighting, communication, and firefighting. The tunnel alone has 365 satellite navigation simulation broadcasting devices.

To ensure the stable operation of these systems and maintain a safe driving environment, Aerospace Baykee provided a smart power solution centered around CHP3000 series, MP1100 series, HTT series, and HTS series UPS and EPS power systems.

This solution meets the high power density, reliability, quality, and environmental requirements of the smart highway, using intelligent management to improve the efficiency of all system equipment operations and ensure the safe and orderly operation of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link.

Previously, Aerospace Baykee has provided high-reliability power solutions for several national projects, including the Long March 5-7 rockets, numerous high-speed rail lines, and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.
