At 6:30 AM on July 4, as the first rays of dawn broke the horizon, dew drops slid off the lotus leaves, making each blossom glisten under the sunlight. The gentle morning breeze caused the leaves to sway lightly, carrying a faint lotus fragrance that brought a touch of coolness and tranquility to the hot summer day.
