Recently, several photographers from Foshan have made a significant mark at the 19th China International Photographic Art Exhibition. The final results, recently announced by the exhibition's organizing committee, reveal that four Foshan photographers—Lin Jingliang, Zhou Yuyan, Liang Yuxian, and Wu Xuewen—had seven works selected for the exhibition.

Lin Jingliang of the Foshan Photographers Association, earned recognition for his work Victory Return. The photograph vividly captures the triumphant moment of the "Seven Star Team" during the traditional folk event known as "Three Dragons Leap," highlighting the joy and pride of victory.

Zhou Yuyan, another council member of the Foshan Photographers Association, had three works selected: Tranquil Homeland, Joy with You, and the photo series Nomadic Kids. Besides, Zhou's photo Love in the Dragon Boat Water depicts a father protecting his beloved daughter from the wind and rain and showcases the boundless father's love.

Liang Yuxian, a member of the Foshan Photographers Association, was recognized for her work Fishing Family on the River, which offers a glimpse into the daily life of a riverside fishing village. The photograph conveys the deep connection between the villagers and their natural surroundings.

Wu Xuewen, a Shunde senior photographer, was honored for his series Fish, Not Fish. Wu's work focuses on fish and explores deeper, abstract concepts, transitioning from tangible reality to a more ethereal, philosophical reflection.

The 19th China International Photographic Art Exhibition, which was established in 1981 and is organized by the China Photographers Association, is one of the nation's most important and influential photography exhibitions. The selected works demonstrate the high artistic achievement among Foshan photographers and their ability to transform everyday life into compelling visual narratives.
