Foshan is set to welcome its second Sam's Club, marking a significant retail milestone for the city. On August 27, the QiCha No. 3 plot in Sanlongwan was successfully acquired for 120.75 million yuan by Foshan Xinmaoyuan Asset Management Co., Ltd., setting the stage for the new Sam's Club in Foshan. The project will see a total investment exceeding 600 million yuan, with construction expected to begin by the end of this year and the grand opening slated for 2026.
Strategic Location in Sanlongwan to Attract High-End Resources
The new Sam's Club will be situated in the Sanlongwan Science and Technology City's Chancheng Area, specifically in Shiwan Town. This location is strategically significant as it serves as a vital connection point between Foshan and other core cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The area is known for its advanced planning, significant investments in infrastructure, and high-quality amenities, making it an attractive hub for emerging strategic industries and headquarters for modern service enterprises.
Innovative Design and Architectural Features
The QiCha No. 3 plot, located on the east side of Guilan Road and north of Kuiqi Road, covers a planned net area of 25,496.05 square meters (approximately 38.24 mu). The site is designated for commercial, business, and recreational use. The development will feature an innovative architectural design that mimics the ripples on a calm water surface, enhanced with custom lighting elements to create a unique and grand-scale warehouse-style store. This design aims to establish a new landmark in the Sanlongwan area, further solidifying the region's status as a magnet for high-end resources and businesses.
With this project, Sam's Club continues to expand its footprint in China, bringing its high-end retail experience to more consumers and contributing to the economic vitality of Foshan's Sanlongwan area.
