On 23 May, the 20th Shenzhen International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) kicked off in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. Cultural and creative products from China were very popular., with the 3D-printed Chinese dragon attracting many Chinese and foreign attendees. A foreign boy was seen holding up a golden dragon, unwilling to put it down.
Feng Zizhou, an exhibitor at Creative China zone, introduced to GDToday that the 3D-printed dragon was made of photosensitive resin. The printing process is very complicated, requiring modelling first and then printing. The printing period is quite long, and it takes three days to print a piece like this.
