Lingnan Finance Museum

As night falls and the lights illuminate the Lingnan Finance Museum, step inside to embark on a journey through time, exploring the rich history of finance in Southern China. Each exhibit tells a story of the region's financial evolution, waiting to be uncovered by curious visitors.

Guangdong Daguan Museum

For an enriching summer experience, the Guangdong Daguan Museum has offered a special parent-child learning journey. With extended hours, families can explore a nighttime cultural space that combines discovery, education, and entertainment.

The museum presents three key exhibitions: Reflections in Bronze: Ancient Chinese Mirrors, Elegance of the Ming and Qing Dynasties: Craftsmanship in Chinese Art, and Endless Joy: Han Dynasty Cultural Life. Take a moonlit stroll through history as you and your children explore these fascinating displays.

Night Visit Guide:

Opening Hours: Until September 1, Tuesday to Sunday, 6:30 PM - 10:30 PM.

Admission: No reservation or ticket needed. Permanent exhibition areas require real-name entry. After September 1, only temporary exhibitions will remain open during evening hours.

Foshan Ancestral Temple Museum

After experiencing the bustling day tours, discover the charm of Foshan Ancestral Temple Museum at night. This summer, the museum is open for evening visits, offering a unique blend of traditional architecture, Cantonese opera performances, and thrilling lion dances.

Cantonese Opera Performances at Wanfu Stage

Performance Time: Every Saturday until August 31, 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Location: Wanfu Stage, Foshan Ancestral Temple Museum

Lion Dance Performance

Performance Time: Every Saturday until August 31, 8:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Location: Wong Fei-hung Memorial Hall, Foshan Ancestral Temple Museum

Opening Hours: Every Saturday until August 31, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM (last ticket sold at 8:30 PM).

Ticket Price: Night admission is 5 RMB per person. Tickets can be purchased online via the museum's official WeChat account (@佛山市祖庙博物馆). E-tickets must be scanned for entry within the designated time. Refunds are available directly through WeChat.

Accessible Areas: All areas except the Front Hall, Main Hall, Qingzhen Building, Confucius Hall, Wong Fei-hung Memorial Hall, Ip Man Hall, Hidden Treasures Pavilion, and Lingnan Cultural Exhibition Hall are open.

Extended Hours at Other Museums:

Beyond these nighttime offerings, several other Foshan museums have also extended their opening hours during the summer, allowing you to dive into the ocean of knowledge at your own pace!

Foshan Liang's Garden, Ancient Town Historical Features Exhibition Hall, Guangdong Cantonese Opera Museum, and Chen Tiejun Residence are open until 5:30 PM daily until August 31 (with last entries around 5:00 PM).

From now until September 1, Nanhai Museum (including Kang Youwei Museum) and Shunde District Museum also extend their hours to 5:30 PM. Admission is free with on-site ID registration.
