On January 4, Guangdong TV has reported the achievement in industrial transformation made by Foshan enterprise, Monalisa Group Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "Monalisa").
From January to October in 2022, Foshan has achieved over 466.661 billion yuan in added value for industrial enterprises above designated size, an increase of 3.2%. As one key manufacturing city in Guangdong Province, Foshan has put creating excellent business environment as the top priority. Foshan has made great efforts in the industrial transition to maintain the quality and quantity of manufacturing industries.
As one leading ceramics company in Foshan, Monalisa is one outstanding enterprise taking actions in digital transformation. In the data center of Monalisa, employees can track the performance of every production line via the giant monitor. Additionally, it enables flexible adjustment, which has significantly increased the production efficiency. Recognized as 2022 digital and intelligent demonstration factory in Foshan, Monalisa has been rewarded 20 million yuan subsidy for its achievement.
The director of Monalisa Zhang Qikang commented that, with subsidy provided to enterprises, the progress in digital and intelligent transformation would be promoted to a better stage. Apart from monetary support, technical assistance from the government is also an essential driven factor.
In 2021, Foshan has released the action plan and offered special interest-free loan to promote intelligent transformation. There were over 1700 applications, in total 45 billion yuan worth of investment.
Stated by Chen Zhenhao, the chief engineer in Foshan Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, by November 2022, there were 3685 industrial enterprises above designated size which have implemented digital transformation, accounting for nearly 39% of the total number. After the transformation, the production efficiency has increased by 16% on average, which is a remarkable achievement.
