On the morning of February 6th, Foshan economic and trade delegation set off from Guangzhou South Railway Station.
On February 6th, the first day of full resumption of personnel exchanges between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong and Macao, a delegation organized by Foshan Municipal Bureau of Commerce set off from Guangzhou South Railway Station to carry out economic and trade exchanges in Hong Kong.
The delegation includes 22 representatives from government departments, Foshan foreign trade enterprises and business associations. Among the enterprises, there are not only top trading companies such as Foshan International Trade, Foshan Textiles Import and Export, but also Deerma, CRW Bathrooms and other manufacturing export enterprises.
As the fourth largest export market of Foshan, Hong Kong is an important platform for Foshan enterprises to grab orders in global market. Since the end of last year, due to the adjustment of epidemic prevention policy and customs clearance between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, Foshan has taken the lead in opening economic and trade exchanges to seize opportunities by organizing business representatives to go to Europe and Hong Kong to grab orders.
On January 29 this year, Foshan Municipal Bureau of Commerce sent delegations to Shanghai, Quanzhou, Xiamen and Shenzhen for import business docking and investigation. This was the "first group to grab orders" sent by Foshan after the Spring Festival. The delegation to Hong Kong this time is also one of the "order grabbing" teams.
At noon on February 6, Foshan economic and trade delegation arrived in Hong Kong.
During the visit, Foshan delegation will have in-depth exchanges with Hong Kong Greater China SME Alliance Association, Hong Kong JCI Tai Ping Shan, GBA Area Economic and Trade Association and other important Hong Kong economic and trade associations, and hold Foshan - Hong Kong economic and trade exchange docking activities, taking Hong Kong as "super contact" for Foshan enterprises to explore more cooperation resources to win global orders.
"We specially set up a Hong Kong branch for business in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. This time we want to take the opportunity to visit the branch and hope to explore some potential cooperation opportunities." said by Li Junwei, vice president of Deerma Group.
"We are very confident of grabbing orders. We are ready to participate in the Hong Kong Fashion Show organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council in April." Chairman of Foshan Textile Import and Export Co., LTD. Yan Guoshan said.
Next, Foshan Municipal Bureau of Commerce will organize more enterprises to take business docking and investigation in Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia and other regions in order to expand foreign trade market and grab orders in the first quarter.
