On March 20, the promotion meeting for Sanshui's urban operational projects was held. Eight major projects were unveiled, including the charging infrastructure of new energy vehicle, photovoltaic power generation on public buildings, parking slots in industrial parks, etc.
The initial bidding price was set to be 570 million yuan in total, which is expected to generate over 1-billion-yuan investment. Over 60 enterprises and 10 financial institutions have attended the meeting.
Operational projects in multiple areas
There were 12 subdivisions unveiled, covering infrastructure for urban environment, industrial parks, public services, etc. Notably, some operational projects with great economic potential and social benefits are listed, for instance, charging piles for new energy vehicles, public parking slots and gas station.
The charging infrastructure project (first batch) is expected to invest 220 million yuan to provide additional 722 charging piles for 1262 parking slots across 7 towns in Sanshui District.
This project is believed to have great potential as the number of new energy vehicles in Sanshui District has been consistently increasing. By 2025, the number is expected to reach 20 thousand, which will create a demand of additional 2874 charging piles.
Capital investment involved to boost development
The promotion meeting is considered as an effective measure in promoting diversity in urban construction.
The photovoltaic power generation project (first batch) is planned to utilize 200000-square-meter rooftop area to generate 20MW power. Schools, hospitals and buildings for government institutions will be the pilot places. It has received public attention as it will stimulate the achievement of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality in Sanshui District.
