On July 25, the signing ceremony of Affiliated Primary School of Foreign Language School of Shunde No.1 Middle School (referred to as Primary School) was held in Foshan Grand Theatre.

During the ceremony, the Jointly Operation Agreement was signed among the Lecong Government, Education Bureau of Shunde District and Foreign Language School of Shunde No.1 Middle School. Construction Agreement was also signed among Lecong Government, Huafa Group and Country Garden Group.

Through better utilization of land resources and close collaboration between government and corporation, this project is expected to enhance the regional public education service and provide a boost to the educational development in Sanlongwan.

Situated east of Foshan New City, the Primary School covers a land of 30,000 square meters and total construction area of 43,000 square meters. With 320 million yuan investment, it will accommodate 32 classes, providing 1620 public school spots in total.

Edging design to build iconic urban landscape

Notably, Primary School is part of the second batch of "Most Beautiful Campus" Project. Since the launch of collection in June 2022, there are 63 design institutions submitting their scheme. Eventually, the project "School in Forest," proposed by MAT Architecture and Design Office, emerged as the winner.

According to the founding partner of MAT Office, its design has retained the original environment and converted the campus into a conjunction area between natural and urban environment. This concept will be integrated through the whole construction, allowing students to discover their habits in such open and dynamic environment.

Joint collaboration to provide better education

Apart from the environment, the quality of educational resources is the key to boost the development. Given that Primary School is the first educational project conducted by Foreign Language School of Shunde No.1 Middle School, it is considered as a mutual goal to enhance the educational quality in Foshan New City.

Foreign Language School of Shunde No.1 Middle School is known for its diverse curriculum and advanced school philosophy, also its contribution to local talent cultivation. Specifically, it has accumulated rich experience in providing conjunction courses and foreign language courses.

Stated by the principal of Foreign Language School of Shunde No.1 Middle School, there will be shared mechanism emplaced between Primary School and Foreign Language School, covering multiple areas like school philosophy, course design and teacher resources. Additionally, it will strength the collaboration and issue supporting plan to deliver better education to citizens.

Lecong Town authorities express their hope to turn Primary School in a high-standard school through utilizing the educational resources from Shunde No.1 Educational Group. Targeted at high standards, modernization and uniqueness, it will provide excellent education to local students.

Education is considered as one important factor in talent introduction. Foshan New City has realized the importance of education at the first place and put education in the prior list to boost regional development. Nowadays, Foshan New City has introduced excellent educational resources like South China Normal University, Foshan No.1 Middle School, which will further elevate the City's overall quality and competitiveness.

In the future, Foshan New City will continuously increase educational land and investment for education to fulfill the educational need of citizens, making it an ideal place for living.
