Recently, mattresses produced by Guangdong Dream Leader Technology Industrial Co., Ltd. completed customs procedures in just one hour, ready for export to Malaysia.

"Previously, the customs procedure would take over four hours. Since obtaining AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certification this year, our shipments receive priority handling and the inspection rates have been reduced. This efficiency helps us explore more overseas markets and accelerate the establishment of our intelligent home furnishing base," said Guan Qiaoling, Foreign Trade Director of Guangdong Dream Leader Technology. Foshan Customs has been guiding AEO-certified enterprises to utilize customs benefits, promoting a system that customs officer contact enterprises directly, and solving issues on a case-by-case basis. They have set up a special AEO counter to implement priority processing, trust-based supervision, exemption from guarantees, and simplified procedures, enhancing international trade competitiveness.

Foshan now has 311 AEO-certified enterprises, ranking fifth nationally. From January to April this year, these companies, representing 1.07% of the city's foreign trade enterprises, contributed about 38.3% of Foshan's import and export value, a 13.4% year-on-year increase.

Customs Advise:

All registered and compliant enterprises can apply for advanced certification, regardless of size or trade volume.

Customs reviews applications based on general and specific standards, conducts on-site certifications, and makes decisions within 90 days, extendable by 30 days if necessary. Qualified enterprises receive an advanced certification certificate; those that do not meet the standards receive a denial notice.
