On June 24, Guangdong Xincheng Optoelectronics Semiconductor Co., Ltd. signed an agreement with the Shunde District Government, marking the official launch of a high-end laser chip project in Chencun Town, Sanlongwan Sci-tech City.

With a planned total investment of approximately 1 billion yuan, the project will be developed in three phases, focusing on the mass production and testing base of high-end laser chips. The first phase, with a nearly 300 million yuan investment, will launch in Chencun Zhongji Intelligence City. This phase is expected to generate 400 million yuan in revenue by 2026. The second phase will commence after the ceremony, with the acquisition of 80-100 mu of industrial land in Shunde District for additional production.

Guangdong Xincheng Optoelectronics Semiconductor Co., Ltd. is a specialized manufacturer focusing on the industrialization of compound optoelectronic semiconductors in high-end sectors such as 3D sensing, LiDAR, optical communications, and beauty industry. Initial discussions between Shunde and Xincheng Optoelectronics began in March this year. Through open and sincere cooperation, the project achieved rapid progress, culminating in the signing within just three months. This company settling in Shunde will fill a significant gap in high-end laser chip manufacturing.
