One prominent character of Foshan’s industrial development is the specialized towns and industrial zones. There are altogether 35 country-level and province-level distinctive Industry bases, 3 national industrial clusters with upgrading demonstration area, 9 provincial industrial clusters with upgrading demonstration area, 41 famous industrial cities and town and provincial specialized towns. Currently, Foshan has speed up the construction of “3+9” distinctive industrial bases to build the brand of “The City of White Household Appliances”, “Flat Panel LCD Industrial Base” and the “Ceramics City”.
