Next month, Ideas on Design, the international design program will be held in Nanhai, to connect “Made in Foshan” with global design resources. This program will invited more than 20 cross-industry design masters to Foshan, meeting local enterprises’ design demands directly.

It will be held in Mar. 6th to 8th in Dali. By holding several activities like summits, lectures and innovation forum, to build a bridge between cross-border thoughts and traditional industries.

Executive chairman of the program Liu Jun introduced that this program’s theme is “Design Connects the World”. The  cross-industry design masters they invited are from 10 different countries. They are good at different fields, such as industrial design, graphic design, textile design, lighting design and so on, which are associating with traditional industries in Foshan. “I hope more local entrepreneurs and industries can make use of design resources through this program ,” Liu Jun said.

This is the first time that IOD will be held beyond Australia. IOD is originated in Australia and has been held for 25 times, is one of oldest and the most respected and recognized design exchanging conference in the world. Member of the Dali party committee Cao Yingjun released that IOD is settled in Dali permanently.
