In the past week, the Shunde District Party Congress and the two sessions have been held one after another, condensing the great force of the whole region towards the modernization of Shunde and sounding the trumpet of advancing toward the new era.

Shunde District gives high expection to the northern region. To carry out the new development concept and move towards modern Shunde, it should strengthen innovation drive, optimize Shunde traditional industry and upgrade with scientific and technological power, accelerate the construction of three scientific and technological innovation agglomeration zones, which namely, Sino-German Industrial Service Zone, Southern Zhigu and Shunde High-tech Zone. At the same time, relying on the industrial service area of China and Germany, Shunde will unswervingly build the northern district as the pioneer part of Shunde.

Shunde will continue to vigorously promote the construction of rail transit this year, including speeding up the construction of Guangzhou Metro Line 7 Western Section of Shunde and Foshan Metro Line 3, promoting the completion of Foshan Metro Line 2 and the main structure of Guangfo loop line, and doing preparatory work for line 9, line 11, line 13 phase construction.

Shunde will strengthen traffic docking with Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other surrounding cities, study and formulate the connecting of Humen Bridge, Shen Zhong Tunnel, the Hong Kong--Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the Pearl River Delta New Main Line Airport, and accelerate the cross-city project. At the same time, Shunde will strengthen the integration of transportation planning.

This year, Shunde will also make great efforts to promote the housing project for talents and build 250,000 square meters of housing for talents within the year. At the same time, it will make every effort to promote the new (expanded) construction of basic education schools to ensure that Shunde Beijiao School affiliated to the Southrn China Normal University to be completed, making the talentes live and work in peace and contentment, which avoids the worry of children’s going to school.

Northern Shunde District has gathered a large number of new industries such as biomedical, convention, exhibition industries, industrial design and so on. Therefore, it is shouldering the important task of pushing Shunde manufacturing industry to a middle and high end. In the future, the northern district will continue to be an important place to construct science and technology Shunde and promote the development of high-quality economy.
