470 advanced products to be exhibited in the 4th AEME Expo

From December 17th to 19th, the 4th Exposition for Investment and Trade of Advanced Equipment Manufacturing in West Bank of the Pearl River (the 4th AEME Expo) will be held in Foshan. 8 major cities will unveil 470 advanced exhibits, and they plan to sign 248 projects with a total investment of 226.4 billion yuan.

The 4th AEME Expo will be held at Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center and the exhibition area is expected to reach 30,000 square meters. Eight cities in West Bank of the Pearl River including Foshan, Zhaoqing, Yunfu, Yangjiang, Zhuhai, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Shaoguan will set up exhibition areas and exhibit high-tech products in the unit of cities.
 
In 2017, Foshan and other city exhibition areas attended the 3rd AEME Expo.
 
The 4th AEME Expo will cover thematic activities such as exhibitions, project signing, investment promotion, industry forums and so on. It is aimed to showcase the achievements in the advanced equipment manufacturing industry of the eight cities in West Bank of the Pearl River in technological independent innovation, backbone enterprise cultivation, major project introduction, industrial platform construction and so on, and to promote the integration of products, technology, talents, projects and capital.
 
At that time, there will be more than 2,000 Chinese and foreign businessmen attending the conference, including more than 100 internationally renowned advanced equipment manufacturing enterprises and more than 300 domestic well-known advanced equipment manufacturing enterprises.

164 equipment companies will exhibit 470 exhibits with 248 projects to be signed.
 
At the 4th AEME Expo, 440 exhibitors from 164 equipment companies are collected for exhibition among the 8 cities in West Bank of the Pearl River. Among them, a total of 18 enterprises from Foshan will exhibit 44 exhibits, mainly including the first major technical equipment, industrial robots, intelligent manufacturing production lines and hydrogen energy equipment developed and produced in Foshan in recent years.
 
In terms of project signing, there are currently 248 projects to be signed in the 8 cities with a total planned investment of 226.4 billion yuan, including 53 projects with investment of 1 billion yuan to 10 billion yuan and 5 projects with 10 billion yuan and above.
 
Foshan plans to sign 46 projects with a planned investment of 62.2 billion yuan, including the Country Garden Robot Valley Start-up Zone project with a total investment of 30 billion yuan, the FAW-Volkswagen MEB electric vehicle project and the MEB high-voltage battery self-made project with a total investment of 11.8 billion yuan.

With leading effects, Foshan has become the permanent address for holding the AEME Expo
 
Since August 2014, the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government have proposed the construction of the advanced equipment manufacturing industry belt on the west bank of the Pearl River. Foshan has become the permanent address for holding the AEME Expo.
 
In 2017, the total amount of added value of Foshan’s equipment manufacturing industry, accounting for about 50% of the advanced equipment manufacturing industry belt in the west bank of the Pearl River, has played an active leading role in the construction of industrial belts.
 
Cai Jiahua, member of the Standing Committee of Foshan Municipal Committee and deputy mayor, said that Foshan will strive to build a special, high-quality, influential and professional exhibition of equipment manufacturing, contributing to building the equipment industry belts of the west bank of the Pearl River into the advanced equipment manufacturing base with world influence and international competitiveness.
