The 125th China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, Chinas largest trade fair, opened on April 15th. At the Canton Fair, a number of Foshan companies utilized the platform to showcase Foshans manufacturing strength.
Home appliance: transforming to showcase corporate brands
At the 125th Canton Fair, Galanz brought more than 200 products such as range hoods, washing machines, microwave ovens and refrigerators to create a matrix of smart home products that are refined, serialized and family-owned.
The related staff of Galanz said that in recent years, Galanz has increased its brand promotion efforts in the international market. “Currently, Galanz has registered its own brands in 149 countries and regions around the world. It has also accomplished the transition from demonstrating large-scale manufacturing capabilities to exhibiting corporate brands at the Canton Fair.”
In order to better display products to overseas buyers, Foshan enterprises not only worked hard on the products, but also spent a lot of thoughts on the layout of the booths. Chen Jianhui, director of overseas sales of Smart Frog Technology Co., Ltd, said that Smart Frog focused more on the current popular home style in terms of booth display, in line with the young peoples pursuit of simple fashion.

Ceramic products: application space is further extended
In the Building Materials Brand Pavilion, located in the Area B of the Canton Fair, there are a collection of well-known Foshan ceramic brands such as Hongyu Ceramics, New Pearl Ceramics Group, Monalisa Tiles, and Dongpeng Ceramics. As in previous years, large-size tiles are the main products of those well-known companies. But there was one difference that each company had made more expansions in the use of large boards with a sense of design.
This year, New Pearl Ceramics Group still displayed the “SUMMIT” brand at the Canton Fair. Feng Xufeng, general manager of the International Trade Department of the New Pearl Ceramics Group, said that their large boards were the largest in the industry, which could be used not only on the wall and the floor, but also as a new type of building material.
Product Innovation: design concepts focus more on health
In addition to the main design, the concept of health was also the highlight of the major companies’ exhibitions. In the booth of Guangdong Chigo Air Conditioning Co., Ltd, one of its products is equipped with comfortable air supply, intelligent operation of home security butler and other technologies, achieving the integration of intelligent technology and health concepts.
The same health concept was also used in ceramic products. This year, KITO and Dongpeng Ceramics had brought “negative oxygen ion bricks” with the theme of health. Dongpeng also sets up the experience space of “Dongpeng Air Purification Brick” in the exhibition hall.
