4 Foshan enterprises joined the “Top 500 Chinese Listed Companies”
On July 1st, the list “Top 500 Chinese Listed Companies” in the first half of 2020 released by Wind Information showed that 4 Foshan enterprises, Midea Group Co., Ltd. (stock name: Media Group), Foshan Haitian Flavouring and Food Co., Ltd. (stock name: Haitian), Country Garden Holdings Co., Ltd. (stock name: Country Garden), and Country Garden Services Holdings Co., Ltd. (stock name: Country Garden Services) were included.
Midea Group ranked 20th on the list with a market value of 418.9 billion yuan. In the first quarter of this year, Midea Groups total online sales volume was about 13.5 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 11.7%. The market shares of home appliances such as air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators and other categories in Midea Group have all increased to varying degrees.
Haitian ranked 22nd on the list accounting for a market value of 403.1 billion yuan. In the first quarter of this year, Haitian’s operating income reached 5.884 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 7.17%. Its net profit increased by 9.17% on a year-on-year basis, reaching 1.613 billion yuan.
Country Garden and Country Garden Services ranked 64th and 164th on the list respectively with a market value of 190.2 billion yuan and 90.5 billion yuan. According to market analysts, the sales performances of leading Chinese real estate developers are continuing to restore and the market performance exceeds expectations.
