Blueprints for 200 billion-worth Honggang Tech City mapped out

On January 29th, the plan for Honggang Hight-tech City in Shunde District was officially released in a press conference. A large number of major projects were signed and research institutions were unveiled. It is known that the Honggang High-tech City is built with world-class standard.
  
Reportedly, the total investment in the Honggang High-tech City project exceeds 200 billion yuan. It is estimated that the area will be blessed with a fixed investment of 23 billion yuan, 200 licensed enterprises and 3,000 talents in varied sectors. By now, Honggang High-tech City is applying for the Major Development Platform of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It will then build another new center of Shunde with Shunde Gang’ao City in a coordinated way. 
   
The overall planning area of Honggang High-tech City is about 22.3 square kilometers, located to the west of 105 National Highway. There are 15 village-level industrial parks in Daliang District. Through reconstruction, 1,000 hectares of land will be renewed in this area, and 700 hectares of land will be under reconstruction soon.
   
According to the plan, the Honggang High-tech City is benchmarked against some of the top high-tech cities in the world, positioning itself as an "International Innovation Open Cooperation Zone, Innovative Drive of the Intelligent Manufacturing in the GBA, Shunde Landscape City Exhibition Gallery, and A Smart City with Industry-City Integration in the future".
   
The renovation project of Dafushan Industrial Zone was launched. 
  
With this project, the city hopes to start the construction work in one year, see results in the first three years and see the area taking shape in five years. Through village renovation, Honggang High-tech City will conduct an overall construction by means of “Six Major Strategies” (platform, industry, project, park, transportation, facilities). It is reported that the overall construction project mainly includes the core traffic network (including bridges) of the three districts of the area, education, medical and cultural facilities, gardening, water environment management and smart city projects, etc. By January 29th, the renovation project of Dafushan Industrial Zone was launched, while construction of the exhibition hall for Honggang High-tech City has also been kicked off. More construction works are moving smoothly in motion.
