As the winners list of 2021 Good Design Selection and 2021 Golden Pin Design Award unveiled, Guangdong Industrial Design City in Shunde, Foshan won several prizes for its innovative designs, promoting the reputation of "Shunde Design".

Among them, MK Design won six awards of Good Design Selection and three prizes of Golden Pin Design Award for its western cooking machine, hand-held disinfection spray and other inventions. Smart Frog secured both awards with its new design, portable drying box and another company, Moido, with “capsule toothbrush”.

Put into use on July 1st, Guangdong Industrial Design City now has become the provider of bountiful innovations for manufacturing in Foshan and beyond. Just in 2020, it got 86 prizes. Reportedly, aiming to be more competitive in global market, it has international design cooperation center, professional talent introduction center, communication center, sale platform and resource sharing platform.

In the next step, with all the international platforms mentioned above, Guangdong Industrial Design City will grasp the chance to establish solid cooperative relationship with more top-notch designers and be a contributor to the thriving of industrial design in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
