The list of 2016 Guangdong brand-name product was released by the Promotion Committee for Guangdong brand-name product recently. In 2016, 177 products in Foshan were named as “Guangdong brand-name product”. So far Foshan has 500 Guangdong brand-name products(495 industrial products and 5 service products), which accounts for 25.51% of the total brand-name products in Guangdong. In this aspect, Foshan has always ranked first in Guangdong for many years.

In 2016, taking a chance of improving quality of the city, Bureau of Quality And Technology Supervision of Foshan City took several measures to help local enterprises to make brand-name product and burnish “Made in Foshan”brand.

Firstly, guiding and encouraging enterprise to strengthen brand construction by policy promotion, corporation training and expert consultation.

Secondly, recommending 29 products of 24 enterprises to add the list of 2016 Guangdong brand-name product after widely surveyed and studied.

Thirdly, communicating and coordinating with departments like tax department to make sure enterprises can get certification materials easily. Besides, providing a platform to answer questions for enterprises.

Fourthly, guiding enterprises to build up performance management mode by self-assessment of performance management and quality promotion training for administrators in order to improve managerial innovation and transformation.
