On July 26th, a jubilant ceremony was held in Lishui Town, Foshan. It marked the roof sealing of Jintian Food Industrial Park (hereinafter referred to as "Jintian Industrial Park"), as well as the opening of its Investment Promotion Center. Strategically, Jintian Industrial Park will be built into a leading healthy food industrial park in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), gathering up strong momentum for industrial layout Lihu New Town and "big health industry" in Lishui Town.

The project has been aligned with the "Healthy China 2030 Initiative" published in 2016 by the State Council, which prioritizes the mission to protect peoples health in full life-cycle in an all-rounded way. Locally speaking, Jintian Industrial Park would be the key to fulfilling the mission. Foshan, Nanhai District in particular, is home to a mature "big health industry" and expects to see more progress afterindustrial giants like Efong Pharmaceutical and Lingnan Traditional Chinese Medicine Tablets Co., Ltd settled in Lishui to fuse with local "big health" industry.

To set world-class standards for big health industry in GBA 

Located in Xinlian Community, Jintian Industrial Park is positioned as an important base for food production/processing and freezing/cold storage. Multifunctional as it was planned to be, more industrial carriers will be built to empower other leading enterprises in manufacturing, industrial tourism and live commerce.

On the design level, the park consists of an intelligent manufacturing center of 54,000 square meters anda cold-chain warehouse of 21,000 square meters. Other features, including all-region gas pipelines, an independent sewage treatment center and a sound EIA result (Environmental Impact Assessment), set the standards for a food industrial park.

Local industrial dividends breed stronger influences in GBA 

This year marked the start of Chinas 14th Five-Year Plan. Lishui Town has drawn a blueprint of "building itself to be a well-known town in GBA". One of the shiny brands that represents Lishui is a sound reputation from its health industry, as 229 food production (including others related) and a total of 97 pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and medical equipment manufacturers have registered in Foshan.

Up next, Lishui will intensify its efforts to boost its "big health industry", as Jintian Food Industrial Park will appear on China (Guangzhou) International Health Industry Trade Fair to be held in December.
