Recently, China National Institute of Standardization released the list of the first round of enterprise standards forerunner in 2022. According to the statistics, a total of 42 standards set by 23 enterprises in Shunde are listed as the forerunners of national enterprise standards in 2022, and the number of enterprises listed ranked first in the country for five consecutive years.

According to the Opinions About Enterprise Standards Forerunner System released by the State Administration for Market Regulation and other ministries in July 2018, the selection of enterprise standards forerunner is based on enterprise standard data on the national unified public service platform of enterprise standard information. By the method of star rating, enterprise standards are comprehensively assessed. The enterprise standards forerunner system was piloted in 2018 and came into full implementation in 2019.

The 42 listed standards are from 23 enterprises like Guangdong Meizhi Compressor Co., Ltd., Hisense Ronshen (Guangdong) Freezer Co., Ltd., GD Midea Air-Conditioning Equipment Co., Ltd., GD Midea Heating & Ventilating Equipment Co., Ltd., Guangdong Bear Electric Co.,Ltd, Guangdong Wanjiale Kitchen Technology Co., Ltd. etc. Products listed include commercial freezers, dehumidifiers, air duct machines, rice cookers, coffee machines, household gas stoves, mobile air conditioners, etc. GD Midea Air-Conditioning Equipment Co., Ltd., and GD Midea Heating & Ventilating Equipment Co., Ltd. have 5 standards listed, becoming the most listed Shunde enterprises.
