148 enterprises in Sanshui are qualified as Guangdong's specialized and sophisticated enterprises. In 2022, a total of 156 enterprises in Sanshui District applied for specialized and sophisticated SMEs, 94.9% of which are approved.

Specialized and sophisticated enterprises refer to those innovative ones which produce advanced and unique products. "Little giants" are outstanding ones out of specialized and sophisticated enterprises with large market share, core technologies, great quality and efficiency, which focus on market segmentation and innovation ability.

In 2021, there are only 18 enterprises in Sanshui District successfully qualified as Guangdong specialized and sophisticated enterprises. While in 2022, the number of Guangdong specialized and sophisticated enterprises has increased 8 times, covering such various fields as pan-home, equipment manufacturing, new materials, textiles, aluminum materials, etc.

The representative of the Enterprise Department of Economy, Science and Technology Bureau of Sanshui District introduced that, to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises, Sanshui strives to dig into the production and operation of enterprises, help solve problems encountered by those specialized and sophisticated enterprises and promote the rapid development of enterprises.

At the same time, Sanshui works with service agencies and industry associations to carry out special trainings for specialized and sophisticated enterprises to answer their questions related to the application process. Meanwhile, Sanshui has cooperated with banks and insurance financial institutions to provide important financial support. Targeted service is offered to provincial and national specialized and sophisticated enterprises.
