On May 22, during the 2023 World Hydrogen Technology Convention held in Nanhai, the Doosan M400 fuel cell 105 MW project launching ceremony took place in Danzao. This project will build a 105 MW fuel cell cogeneration equipment production line, empowering high-quality development of Danzao's economy.

The production line launched this time is for the most representative product of Doosan Fuel Cell Co., Ltd. from South Korea. According to Doosan Fuel Cell Company, the M400 type fuel cell is installed more than 600 MW worldwide, whose installation capacity ranks first in the world.. With its stable operation and excellent durability, the fuel cell has been recognized by customers around the world.

Foshan, as a leading city in the GBA for fuel cell vehicle application, has played a vital role in the hydrogen energy industry. Over the past decade, Nanhai, as the main loaded region of Foshan's hydrogen energy industry, has attracted more than 150 hydrogen-related enterprises, accounting for 1/3 of the total number of hydrogen-related enterprises in Guangdong province.

"Foshan has good industrial foundation, sophisticated innovation system, great development potential and strong industrial supporting ability. I am full of confidence in the future development of the hydrogen energy industry enterprises in Foshan Nanhai." Li Xiaojun, vice-president of China Association for the Promotion of Industrial Development affiliated with National Development and Reform Commission, commented.
