As an industrial city, Foshan has a large demand for vocational education. This event aims to promote multifaceted exchanges and cooperation between German enterprises, vocational education institutions, Foshan vocational schools, and local businesses in the field of industry-education integration. This is crucial for exploring ways to upgrade Foshan's manufacturing sector and enhance the vocational skills of the technical workforce.
Martin Klose, Executive Director of the German Chamber of Commerce in China - South and Southwest, stated that recruiting and retaining high-quality talent is one of the primary human resource challenges for German companies. Therefore, Sino-German vocational education cooperation is very important. It contributes significantly to the economy, culture, and social development of both countries. Klose highlighted that the AHK (German Chamber of Commerce) Vocational Education and Talent Solutions Department has been dedicated to this field for many years, supporting vocational schools and companies by introducing examination standards and issuing certificates.
