Sanlongwan set up a commercial communication center in Shenzhen
On May 13, 2021, Sanlongwan Innovation Cluster set up a commercial communication center for robot industry in Nanshan District, Shenzhen. It is an active step for Foshan to integrate into the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hongkong-Macau Sci-Tech Corridor. And it will further promote the connection between Shenzhen innovation and Foshan manufacturing. On the same day, Investment Center of Shunde Beijiao Robot Town and Shenzhen Investment Center of Haichuang Dazu Intelligent Robot Manufacturing City were established as well.
to reach the high ground of robot industry under the lead of industry giants
Robots play an important role in improving the digitalization and intellectualization of manufacturing industry. For Sanlongwan, which is working to build a leading innovation high ground of manufacturing in the world, robot industry is not only a key for Foshan to develop a "2+2+4" industrial cluster, but an important foundation and driving force for local traditional manufacturing enterprises to realize digital transformation. So far, some robot giants, including Yaskawa, KUKA and Kawasaki, have already settled in Sanlongwan. Local enterprises like Bright Dream Robotics and Rossum have also maintained rapid development here and more and more companies from Shenzhen and other cities have chosen to settle here. Among others, Shenzhen Hans Robot Co., Ltd headquartered and built Haichuang Dazu Intelligent Robot Manufacturing City in Sanlongwan, providing new impetus for Sanlongwan to build a high ground of robot industry in China.

Approved for construction at the end of 2020, Haichuang Dazu Intelligent Robot Manufacturing City covers an area of 150,000 square meters and construction area of 600,000 square meters. As a robot-industry-oriented intelligent manufacturing base, it plans to further set up robot global headquarter base, robot research & incubation base and demonstration zone of advanced manufacturing achievements. Following the development approach of “giants driving big industries and huge platform carrying great development”, Hans Robot, as one of the leading companies, aims to galvanize the development of both upstream enterprises and downstream enterprises of robot industry, form whole industrial chain & ecological cluster, and build an industrial park with over ten billion yuan output values after going into operation.
So far, many enterprises have signed a letter of intention to enter Haichuang Dazu Intelligent Robot Manufacturing City Ⅰ, including Hans Robot and over 20 robot-related enterprises in its upstream and downstream.
setting more commercial contact points to contain Shenzhen’s innovation resources
According to representatives from Haichuang Dazu Intelligent Robot Manufacturing City, it is the platform advantages of Sanlongwan and the solid foundation of manufacturing industry in Foshan that made Hans Robot settle in Sanlongwan. Besides, a robot industry cluster represented by Midea KUKA and Robot Valley has been initially formed and an international cooperation platform connecting international innovation resources has been built in Sanlongwan.
In April 2021, the second phrase projects of Midea Kuka Intelligent Manufacturing Sci-Tech Park were initiated in Sanlongwan.
The establishment of the communication center and two investment centers aims to serve as a significant platform to attract and select investment.
In the next step, Sanlongwan will enhance following measures to help Foshan hold the high ground in global robot industry:
1. futher attract investment in robot industry;
2. expand industrial resources;
3. collect both industry and project information;
4. better connect Sanlongwan with talents, technology, capital and market in Shenzhen.
