From September 2 to September 7, "Xiangyun" Silk, also termed as "Gambiered Canton Gauze", has received vast public attention at China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), the first-ever comprehensive exhibition in service trade.

This year, the event is inspired by key topics including peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality. As a textile dyed purely by plants, this national intangible cultural heritage from Foshan well combines eco-friendly awareness with cultural recognition.

Presented in a global session held in Beijing, "Xiangyun" Silk is hoped to have a more extensive reach of consumers, according to Chen Xiaoliang from Guangdong Xiangyunsha Investment Management Co., Ltd. With exquisite design and strong practical use, items like handbags, coin purses, scarves, lighting, furniture models made from "Xiangyun" Silk  attracted many visitors on the spot.

By connecting "Xiangyun" Silk to peoples daily life on an international platform, Foshan has managed to create new aesthetic appeals out of traditional products, allowing  "Xiangyun" Silk to tap into endless possibilities.
