In the morning of September 26th, major projects in the third quarter of Guangdong Province were launched. Foshan, as a branch session, held the commencement ceremony in Shishan Town, Nanhai District.

In the third quarter, Foshan is involved in 100 major projects of all in Guangdong Province, with a total investment of 65.398 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 8.099 billion yuan.

Xinyang Technology Imaging Module Production Project, where the branch session was held, has a total investment of 10 billion yuan. It plans to construct factories and build production lines with a capacity of 50 million imaging modules per month, which will add up to an annual output value of 10 billion yuan.

Government officials in charge of the project said that Shishan Town is located at the axis point of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with prominent geographical advantages and convenient intercity rail. Meanwhile, it plans to find potential enterprises in smart home appliances, family cars, smart government and other closely related fields, looking for broader cooperation.

This is the first leading project in sensitive components and sensor manufacturing introduced to Shishan Town, and also the first construction project of over 10 billion yuan settled in Nanhai District this year. The project took only 3 months from determining investment intention to successfully bidding for the land, which fully demonstrates the continuous optimization of Foshans business environment.

Project Name: Shanglang Maker Science and Technology Park

Project Overview: the project covering about 34,000 square meters will build an industrial park producing intelligent textile machinery and equipment

Total Investment: 0.33 billion yuan

Project Name: Xinyang Technology Imaging Module Production Project

Project Overview: the project covering about 100,000 square meters will build factories and production lines with a capacity of 50 million imaging modules per month

Project Name: KDT Shunde High-end Furniture Equipment Intelligent Manufacturing Base

Project Overview: the project covering about 127,000 square meters plans to build five-axis machining center, automatic flexible wooden doors and windows intelligent production lines with international leading technology and competitiveness, and to build the digital production headquarter and sales headquarter of intelligent furniture equipment in South China.

Total Investment: 2 billion yuan

Gaoming District

Project Name: IKEA Supply Chain South China Trade Center Project

Project Overview: the project covers about 160,000 square meters. After completion, it is responsible for the research and development, manufacture, transportation, warehousing logistics of IKEA products in South China, formed a wholesale trade and logistics distribution center.

Project Name: Fabricated Integral Kitchen and Bathroom Industry Project of Foshan Bailifeng Building Materials Co., LTD.

Project Overview: After completion, the project covering about 96,000 square meters will produce and sell fabricated kitchen and bathroom products
