Recently, Yicheng Economy Consulting Center(Yicheng Think Tank) published <Chinese high-quality Town development Report 2022>(hereinafter refers as the Report) and the Top 500 rank of high-quality developed town while Shishan Town stayed on the first place for another term among more than 20 thousand towns in the whole country. While, 5 other towns of Nanhai, Foshan also come out on top and demonstrate the power of modern, energetic new Nanhai.

As the first town of Guangdong, Shishan is a 100 billion industrial town with millions population. In 2021, the GDP of Shishan town is 12 billion about 10% of the GDP of Foshan and the total value of industrial output is up to 28 billion, almost half of the whole Nanhai District. Shishan Town is also the only town that has more than 30 billion overall value of industrial output.

Under the 2+2 strategy, Shishan’s industrial development continues to move on in styles with increasing advanced platforms and scientific achievements, brand new enterprise preferential policy and optimization of business environment which indicate the transition from a traditional industrial to a modernized industrial town.

Except for industrial development, Shishan town also tries its best to build a new industrial center and urban center in northern area of Foshan. Shishan also has great achievement on building a supplement network and a habitable ecosystem, a comprehensive improvement on land problem and epidemic prevention and control.

Continuing to hold the first place is not the end of Shishan. In the future, Shishan will be the vanguard of national town development with higher standard and more realistic movement to welcome the 20th Peoples Congress.
