After a 14-hour flight, the economic and trade delegation of Foshan arrived at Frankfurt International Airport in Germany to enter EU on November 24. This is the first government-led delegation since 2020 to restart economic exchanges events. Delegates will embark on a 10-day journey across several countries.
Led by Foshan Government and organized by Foshan Bureau of Commerce, the delegation consisted of 44 representatives from government, commecial association, manufacture, trade, etc.
Foreign trade is an important part of the economy. In the first 10 months of this year, Foshan's foreign trade import and export value has reached 560.88 billion yuan, an increase of 7.4% over the previous year. However, affected by the epidemic, it is more difficult for enterpreneurs to develop international markets since economic exchanges have been held up.
After arriving in Warsaw, the delegation will attend the China (Poland) Trade Fair in Warsaw, visit Berlin Technology Park and the Sino-European Trade and Logistics Cooperation Zone so as to better expand European market by keeping up with the latest market dynamics.
