On December 9, the 6th Foshan Industry-University-Research-Investment Cooperation Development Conference (hereinafter referred to as the Conference) was held in Chancheng District. At the conference, the start program of cooperation between schools and specialized and sophisticated enterprises was launched. A number of specialized and sophisticated enterprises reach cooperation with universities and research institutions.

With the theme of “New Generation of Private Enterprises, Future Small Giants”, this year's conference aims to explore and cultivate specialized and sophisticated enterprises, and establish a collaborative development mechanism with large backbone enterprises and growing SMEs to showcase a number of creative and promising digital intelligent private enterprises.

The Conference has become an important platform and brand to promote the transformation of science and innovation achievements in Chancheng District. Since 2017, six sessions of the Conference have been held, continuously promoting the connection between the supply and demand of scientific and technological achievements and the deep integration of industry, university and research.

This year's conference has initiated the program to help small giant enterprises to go public, further supporting the restructuring and industrial upgrading of private enterprises in Chancheng District.
