On March 24, "Go GBA Hong Kong Enterprises Service Station" in Foshan (hereafter referred as "GoGBA Station") was officially unveiled, indicating that Hong Kong enterprises will receive better support for development in Foshan. HKTDC South China chief representative Peter Wong, deputy director of Foshan Municipal Bureau of Commerce He Manchu, and deputy director of Foshan Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment Wang Xu attended the unveiling ceremony.

Jointly organised by the HKTDC and the Foshan Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment, GoGBA Station provides comprehensive support covering market and policy information, consulting services and corporate promotion for Hong Kong enterprises which already settle down or plan to invest in Foshan

Peter Wong said that the HKTDC will continue to work closely with government departments, trade associations and industrial parks with a focus on the GoGBA Business Supporting Platform and the Mainland Development Supporting Scheme for Hong Kong enterprises, encouraging Hong Kong enterprises to actively participate in the development of the country. At the same time, the HKTDC will step up efforts to encourage Hong Kong youth to start businesses in cities in Greater Bay Area, such as Foshan.

He Manchu said that Foshan has always attached great importance to the cooperation with Hong Kong. In February this year, on the first day of full resumption of cross-border travels, the Foshan Bureau of Commerce actively organized economic and trade delegations to Hong Kong to conduct business exchange and investment promotion. With the official unveiling of Go GBA Foshan Station, the Foshan Bureau of Commerce will continue to strengthen its close ties with the HKTDC and vigorously promote economic cooperation between Foshan and Hong Kong.

Over the years, Foshan has always been favored by Hong Kong enterprises. According to statistics of 2022, Hong Kong enterprises vastly increased their investment in Foshan, with 403 new projects approved, increasing by 48.16%. There are 3,552 Hong Kong enterprises in Foshan now, involving a total investment of over 83.9 billion US dollars.
