On May 18, the opening ceremony of Nidec South China headquarter and R&D center was held in Sanlongwan. As a leading multinational listed company in the electrical and electronic engineering industry, Nidec's South China headquarter and R&D center will mainly focus on electric vehicles, as well as electric power system and motion control system in the field of industrial automation.

The project is located in Sanlongwan Xinglian ERE Science and Technology Park, with an area of more than 6,000 square meters. It aims to build a headquarter with comprehensive functionalities, covering R&D, project management, marketing and administration. "The establishment of this project marks important progress in our technology upgradation." Said Wang Tianbao, Vice President of R&D department at Nidec Asia.

At present, there are 14 industrial parks in Sanlongwan, with over 1.3 million square meters completed and ongoing construction area of over 1.93 million square meters.

In the future, Sanlongwan will continue to promote the integration of scientific and technological innovation and a higher concentration of innovative enterprises, and make itself an important center of innovative talents, striving to become the most dynamic smart business region in Foshan.
