Foshan City Construction and Development Headquarter Agglomeration Base Project (referred to as City Development Building) is located on the north side of Jihua Road and the east side of Wenhua North Road in Chancheng District. With a total investment of 830 million yuan, the project plans to construct a 196.2-meter building with 38 surface floors and 3 underground floors. It will be a super Grade A office building with commercial and office functions, aiming to become a landmark of Jihua Road, a Central City Reception Hall, RBD Headquarters, as well as a benchmark for all-round business. Positioned as a high-quality office landmark in Foshan, the building is expected to be officially put into operation in the first half of 2025.

Creating a new landmark for urban development, illuminating the skyline of central city hall

The Round-Wenhua Park Vitality and Innovation Zone, where the City Development Building is located, situating in the core area of Foshan, is an important window for Foshan to showcase its urban image.

With the "michelia alba" as the main design concept, the architectural appearance of the City Development Building, resembling blooming petals with simpleness and elegance, will become another landmark building in Foshan. Notably, the combination of dynamic and static office atmosphere is undoubtedly a highlight of the project, which showcases the prosperity of Jihua Road on one side and the tranquility of Wenhua Park and Asian Arts Park on another side.

Additionally, factors such as the appearance and structural design of the building, and the surrounding environment were all taken into consideration, resulting in an effect that the facade of the building will be illuminated at night. It will form a harmonious and unified night lighting effect with the surrounding environment, adding brilliance to Foshan's night economy.

Cultivating a high-end industrial cluster, activating new driving forces for industrial development

As a key project of modern service industry in Guangdong Province, the City Development Building is located at a key node connecting the "urban core" in the east, the "innovation corridor" in the central part, and the "smart manufacturing highland" in the west of Chancheng. It will boast the enhancement of the radiation and service capabilities of Chancheng's modern service industry, providing carrier support for Foshan to build an industrial service center.

After the completion, the City Development Building will attract a batch of headquarters enterprises, top-notch enterprises in sectors of legal consulting, real estate, finance, insurance, etc., and talents to settle, helping Foshan accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system. Regarding the number of potential enterprises for settlement, the building is expected to accommodate more than 100 companies and attract more than 2,500 talents.

It can be foreseen that, in the future, there will be another high-end industrial carrier rising on Jihua Road, further enhancing the functional and industrial development of Chancheng.

According to the project leader, as of the first half of 2023, the City Development Building project has completed 60% of the annual investment, which is about 30% ahead of the plan. Currently, the project is undergoing civil construction, with the main structure of thirteen floors completed. According to the construction schedule, it is estimated that the main structure will be completed by the end of December 2023, laying a solid foundation for the official completion by the end of 2024 and full operation in the first half of 2025.
