2021 Intelligent Manufacturing Alliance of CAST Member Societies & the 2nd Guangdong Manufacturing High-quality Development Summit Forum were held on September 17, on which Foshan has been included as the pilot city of “Innovation China”.

“Innovation China” is a significant platform for Foshan to introduce nationally-advanced technologies, talents and projects, with which the premium resources from the government, enterprises, institutes and market can be pooled to support the local industrial upgrading.

Many academicians, experts and entrepreneurs from the field of intelligent manufacturing were invited to the summit to share their ideas on how to drive the high-quality growth of the industry.

Foshan now has been titled as the demonstration city of manufacturing upgrading, and is striving to be the demonstration city of “Innovation China” in the next 15 years. With the aim of moving toward middle-high end manufacturing industry, it is expected to be the manufacturing leader in the world as more and more world-class manufacturers cluster settle in Foshan.
