On February 25, the groundbreaking ceremony for the waste resource utilization project in Nanhai District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province, was held in Shishan Town. This project applies innovative core patented technology for household waste carbonization, gasification, and hydrogen production.

Produce over 9,100 Sm³/d hydrogen

According to the introduction, the waste resource utilization project in Nanhai District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province, which commenced construction, applies the innovative core patented technology of carbonization, gasification, and hydrogen production by Zhongpeng Future Co., Ltd. It explores a green and low-carbon technological innovation path for urban household waste treatment. After reaching full production, the project can process approximately 500 tons of household waste per day, producing over 9,100 standard cubic meters of green hydrogen with a purity of 99.97% per hour.

This is the first "New Environmental Protection + Green Energy" project model in Nanhai, bringing more flexible, efficient, and resourceful technological innovations to household waste disposal.

Scheduled to put into operation by the end of 2024

Zhongpeng Future Co., Ltd. is a new energy technology company dedicated to resource recycling and green energy fields.

The project is located in Shishan Town, Nanhai District, covering an area of approximately 87 mu, with a total investment of around 587 million yuan. The project is planned to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2024, achieving an annual output value of about 230 million yuan and an average annual tax revenue of about 25 million yuan after reaching full production.

Sun Ziqiang, Chairman of Zhongpeng Future Co., Ltd., stated that the project will be constructed at high quality, efficiency, and standards.

It has been nearly 15 years since the introduction of the first hydrogen energy enterprise in Nanhai in 2009. In recent years, the application scenarios of hydrogen energy industry in Nanhai have become increasingly diverse, constructing multiple application scenarios such as hydrogen transportation, hydrogen communities, hydrogen agriculture, and hydrogen industry.

Currently, Nanhai has gathered more than 150 hydrogen energy enterprises, with a planned investment scale exceeding 60 billion yuan. After reaching full production, it will form an industrial cluster with an annual output value exceeding 100 billion yuan.

The development of the hydrogen energy industry can not only create a new trillion-dollar pillar industry but also promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries.
