12月21日，第五批国家级非物质文化遗产代表性项目名录推荐项目名单公示，佛山咏春拳上榜！进一步擦亮“佛山功夫”名片，打造世界功夫之城！

On December 21, Foshan martial arts Wing Chun was selected as one of the Fifth Batch of National Intangible Cultural Heritage Representative Projects, which has further expands the influence of "Foshan Kung Fu" to build a World Kung Fu City!

  

  

Originated in the Qing Dynasty and rooted in Foshan 

  

咏春，南拳武术，发轫于清，得名于开山宗师——严咏春。武术名家梁赞，沿袭严咏春一脉，于佛山设馆立派，收徒授艺，咏春自此生根，扬名立万。

Wing Chun, a type of southern martial arts, originated in the Qing Dynasty and is named after its founder, master Yan Yongchun. Following the guidance of Yan Yongchun, Liang Zan, a famous martial arts master, set up martial arts clubs in Foshan, took apprentices and taught martial arts. Since then, Wing Chun has rooted in Foshan and become increasingly famous around the world. 

  

  

咏春世代，名家辈出，叶问与阮奇山、姚才并称“咏春三雄”，名重一时。功夫之王李小龙，师承叶问，成就功夫不朽传奇。

Wing Chun, has created generations of prosperity with a large number of Kung Fu celebrities. Ip Man, Ruan Qishan and Yao Cai are known as "Three Heroes of Wing Chun", which had risen rapidly into public prominence. Bruce Lee, the king of Kung Fu, learned martial arts from Ip Man and became an immortal legend of Kung Fu. 

  

  

  

一招一式，刚柔并济，心意融合。咏春讲究手、腰、马、心、意、劲整体合一。擅长借力打力，以横消直，力求迅速制敌，平息斗争，蕴含止戈为武的武术传统和智慧。

Every move in Wing Chun contains the combination of strength and softness, and the fusion of heart and mind. By focusing on the integration of hand, waist, steps, heart, mind and strength, Wing Chun is featured by fighting with strength, striving to quickly control the enemy and stopping the fight, which contains the tradition and wisdom of martial arts.

   

  

  

咏春作为传统非遗，活跃在佛山街头，每年，全球有万千人来佛山问道朝圣，寻根拜师。为进一步推广咏春文化，佛山积极将咏春拳，送进村居、厂企、学校，开展相关专业培训、讲座，上至花甲老人，下至垂髫孩童，练习咏春拳蔚然成风。

As a traditional intangible cultural heritage, Wing Chun is popular in Foshan. Every year, countless people from all over the world visit Foshan to make a pilgrimage and seek the roots of Wing Chun. In order to further promote Wing Chun culture, Foshan has actively carried out relevant professional training and lectures of Wing Chun in villages, enterprises, and schools, which has cultivated the trend of practicing Wing Chun in Foshan. 

  

  

粤港澳咏春拳精英交流赛、世界咏春拳大赛......佛山每年都会举办各类与咏春文化息息相关的竞技活动。千人切磋，以武会友，咏春武林，未曾消逝。

Foshan holds various kinds of competitive activities closely related to Wing Chun culture every year, such as Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Wing Chun Elite Exchange Competition, World Wing Chun Competition, etc. Thousands of people learn from each other and make friends by learning the eternal Wing Chun martial arts.

  

  

以咏春为背景的功夫电影，纷至迭来，《叶问》《师父》《一代宗师》……咏春功夫登上银幕，绽放时代光彩。

"Ip Man", "The Master", "The Grandmaster" and other movies with Kung Fu background have presented the charm of Kung Fu in modern times. 

    

从各类咏春赛事，到打造叶问铜像、纪念馆，再到建设咏春主题公园、世界咏春拳交流中心，软硬件建设齐步并进的佛山，擎起了弘扬咏春文化的大旗，走出了一条文化建设与城市发展和谐共融的文化传承新路子，影响力日益增大。

By holding different kinds of Wing Chun competitions, building bronze statues and memorials of Ip Man, Wing Chun theme parks and the World Wing Chun Exchange Center, Foshan, with complete software and hardware development, has promoted Wing Chun culture and created a new way of cultural inheritance with the harmonious integration of cultural construction and urban development, which is becoming increasingly influential.
