"Dancing lion" ice cream? Hard to resist!
Foshan China 2021-10-26 10:05

Creativities are bursting out most recently at the Ancestral Temple Museum in Foshan. An ingeniously designed ice-cream is now sold at the Ancestral Temple Museum. Shaped as dancing lion, the ice-ream features two flavors (each with its own color).

Color marks a key element in Foshan lion dance culture, with each carrying different implications. "Yellow" lion, with mango flavor, symbolizes benevolence and humanity; "red", with strawberry flavor, symbolizes wealth and victory.

Tons of tiny "lions" can be easily found at the Ancestral Temple, and it would be much more enriching if you can try out "dance lion" ice cream during your visit.

Overall, there are four selling spots where you can choose your favorite flavors. (see the map)
