As one of the important origins of Lingnan culture, Foshan has many cultural symbols. The intangible cultural heritage in Foshan like the famous Cantonese opera, paper cutting, wood engraving pictures, Canton embroidery still shine brightly under the preservation of generations of inheritors year by year.
From 2pm to 8pm on December 21, "Hi! ICH-Foshan ICH Market" event, hosted by Foshan Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, Foshan Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center, Sky Culture and Foshan Ancestral Temple Museum, was held at Shuanglongbi Square at Zumiao Temple.
There were 8 intangible cultural heritage booths including Foshan lion head, Guangdong paper cutting, Foshan wood engraving pictures, Cantonese embroidery, Foshan color lantern, Nanhai cane work, Xiangyun Silk weaving technique and gold foil forging techniques, displaying and selling ICH products to people. There were also Foshan special New Year goods sold on the site.
On the day of the market activity, well-known anchors had a live stream show of Foshan intangible cultural heritages, showing the grandeur of the scene to citizens.
