On November 23, Guicheng, Nanhai announced the “Guicheng on Water” Development Blueprint (hereinafter referred to as “the Blueprint”), as a themed waterfront was revealed at Jingying Feifan Industrial Park.
Pingzhou, located along the Dongping Waterway, winds out for miles and joins the Foshan Waterway into the mouth of the Pearl River. With greater connectivity to Hong Kong and Macao, Pingzhou has long become a bustling commercial hub for centuries.
With the Blueprint, more policy preferences will be pooled to build Guicheng into a tourism attraction. The Blueprint includes main elements - jade culture, Cantonese culture and science, innovation & art - all included in themed waterfronts.
On-shore: fashion shore runway, Yong 'an Village, and Pingzhou jade market
Game experience: meta-universe experience, bar economy and romance economy
Tour: cable car, cruise ship, walk tour (multi-dimensional touring experience)
Up next, Guicheng will gather up more tourism resources to create a "40-km riverfront economic corridor", which also links up to Guangzhou Pearl River and Dongping Waterway in a way that breeds more integrated regional growth.
