An ancient-vibe greenway with a total length of 6,400 meters is shown to the public in Foshan recently. The greenway located by the north bank of Dongping Road is close to Guangdong Shiwan Wine Group, where there are many historical and cultural landmarks.

"It was originally a wharf, and had a long and narrow shape. On the road, there is also a pump room where Shiwan Wine Group used for taking the water, and there are many plants on the embankment. " Li Jianbiao, staff of the project, introduced that the construction team retained the original resources here, and integrated the characteristic industries such as Shiwan ceramics and Shiwan wine to decorate the landscape.

A new cultural wall depicted with colored sculpture and ancient wine scene, small wine jars displayed in several small embedded spaces, paintings of ancients tasting wine, pump room decorated with potteries made by Shiwan pottery masters... Everywhere in the greenway is granted with a kind of cultural imprint, as if you could smell the mellow fragrance of the wine as you walk along the greenway.

Traditional cultural elements like lion head-shaped railings are shown along the greenway. The water space has been fully open to the public and it's expected to be a more leisure destination for the citizens.
